How do I know my car is in good hands at Intertek?
While in our care, your vehicle is fully insured by Intertek. All measurements are taken in our lab by our licensed and experienced ASE Master Certified auto body technicians.

Does it matter if my car has been in an accident?
Yes. We can only use undamaged vehicles for the test fits. Damage that may potentially disqualify your vehicle includes, but it not limited to:

  • Exterior parts that have been replaced or modified;

  • Changes to the vehicle's frame or suspension;

  • Large scratches and/or dents;

  • Rust;

  • Holes, cracks, or any other impact points; and/or

  • Salvage titles.

How long does it take to inspect a vehicle for damage and replacement parts?
It typically takes the auto body technician around 10 to 15 minutes to inspect a vehicle for damage and replacement parts.

How long will Intertek need my vehicle?
We rent vehicles daily, Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm. We ask that all vehicles be dropped off by 8:30 am. We have a drop box for your convenience if you would like to drop off your vehicle early morning or the night before. Your car will then be ready for pick up between 4:30 and 5pm. If you would like to pick up your vehicle after 5pm, we ask that you include instructions on where you would like your keys.

When does Intertek pay me for the vehicle rental?
We offer two payment options: PayPal – payment will be received by you within 2-14 days from the date the vehicle was used by Intertek, or Check – payment will be received by you within 120 days from the date the vehicle was used by Intertek. Intertek requires a completed W-9 Form.

Does Intertek rent a person's vehicle more than once?
Yes, that's the best part! We receive requests to test many different parts on new and older vehicles, so it is highly probable that Intertek will need to rent your vehicle more than once.

How will I know if Intertek needs my vehicle?
The best way is to register your personal vehicles in our database. Intertek will contact you either by phone or email when the need first arises.

Otherwise, to those who would like, we fax and/or email weekly updates to our Current Wanted Vehicle List. Here you will find our needed vehicles that have not yet been reserved. If you have, or know someone who has a vehicle on the list, contact us as soon as possible to reserve an appointment. This list can also be found on our website.
