The Rental Process
If your vehicle is needed for testing, we will call and schedule a date that is convenient for you.
We can only use undamaged vehicles, so before we begin, a Frame-Straightness Test & Damage Inspection is performed. If your vehicle passes the inspection, we will give you $100 to rent your vehicle for one business day; scheduled times are typically Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
If you drop the vehicle off at our vehicle test facility and pick it up after the measurement testing is completed, we will add another $50* transportation fee to the rental amount! If you can bring us your vehicle but you need transportation to get to where you need to go Intertek will reimburse you up to $25** for your taxi, Uber or Lyft transportation expenses.
*Vehicle must be transported to/from Intertek to qualify for the $50 bonus.
**Current dated receipts required to be submitted to qualify for the $25 transportation reimbursement.
In some cases, we'll even pay a one-time Finder's Bonus for vehicles that we URGENTLY need. The owner of the vehicle will be paid $100-$150 for the rental of the vehicle, and the person who locates the vehicle will receive the extra Finder's Bonus. In many cases, the Finder is also the owner of the vehicle. Finder's bonuses are paid on a first come, first served basis.
Payment Options:
We have two payment options available:
- Check: Received by you within 90 days from the date your vehicle was used by Intertek
- PayPal: Received by you within 2-14 days from the date your vehicle was used by Intertek
